What do you do with the catch?

We are more than willing to share the catch, including filleting one fish per person at no extra cost.

Will swimming be allowed once aboard the charter?

Swimming will not be allowed during the duration of the charter.

Do we need to tip the Mate?

We do not charge for cleaning, filleting, and bagging the fish, yet it is customary to tip the Mate for his/her work and effort throughout the duration of the charter.

Are we allowed to bring our own food and beverages?

Yes. We will be happy to store it in our cooler or, if you prefer, you can bring your own.

Is the captain bilingual?

Yes.

Are there any adjustments for people with disabilities?

No.

Can I/we bring my/our own fishing equipment?

You are welcome to bring it.

How can I proceed to pay for the charter?

There’s a required deposit* of $175 that can be made through PayPal and then the rest must be paid in cash.

How to make the deposit through PayPal:

  1. Create or log in to your PayPal account
  2. Go to “Send and Request”
  3. Select “Send Money”
  4. Send the payment to Blue Water Charter’s phone# (787)599-7919
  5. Indicate the amount that will be send
  6. Review and confirm payment

*The deposit is 100% refundable if the Captain is notified 3 days prior to the day of the agreed charter booking or if the Captain cancels the charter because of bad weather. If the charter is not cancelled at least 3 days prior the deposit will not be refunded.
